According to a poll conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of Real Self, one-third or 37% of Americans plan on receiving at least one cosmetic treatment within the next year. Out of this figure, 34% are considering nonsurgical treatments, while 24% plan on opting for the surgical variety. Of the individuals surveyed, 45% of those under the age of 45 were most interested in cosmetic treatments, versus 28% of those 45 years of age and older.
