Dr. Preminger is an Ivy League educated, Board Certified female plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. She holds faculty appointments at Columbia University as well as several other fully accredited New York hospitals.
Dr. Preminger trained at some of the country’s finest institutions including New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Columbia University, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Hospital For Special Surgery. She also studied art at the Art Students League. In addition to achieving top honors in some of the most distinguished Ivy League schools in the country, Dr. Preminger has a history of active leadership in many professional organizations.
Dr. Preminger has expertise in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures and has lectured and published extensively. She and her staff are committed to excellence.
Education
Dr. Preminger graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University. During her time there, she served as President of the Harvard Chapter of Operation Smile, an organization that provides free surgeries to repair facial deformities for children around the world. She also wrote an honors thesis about plastic surgery.
Dr. Preminger received her Medical Doctorate degree from Cornell University Medical College, graduating in the top of her class. She was also elected President of the Cornell Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical student honor society.
