What are FaceTite™ and NeckTite™?

Radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) is a relatively new technology that allows board-certified plastic surgeon in Manhattan, Dr. B. How does it work?

Using a laser that penetrates deep beneath the skin via a probe, the heat technology is applied directly to the trouble areas of the neck or face. It can treat jowls and perioral mounds, which are pockets of fat that develop around the lips, something very common as we age. RFAL also can treat nasolabial folds, which are known as laugh lines, as well as malar festoons or fluid deposits on the upper cheeks.

The heat technology helps jump-start the body’s natural healing process and causes the fat cells to rupture and die. You can expect results to provide you with visibly tighter skin that is more youthful looking.

What should I expect?

Many patients require only one treatment of FaceTite™ or NeckTite™. With RFAL, there is essentially no downtime. This means that you are not restricted by your activities, and can resume your routine fairly soon after treatment. You should expect some level of swelling, which may be present one to two weeks following your procedure. While results should be evident within the first few months after your treatment, final results may not appear until about 12 months later.
