Butt augmentation – what to expect

If you receive an augmentation with implants, you likely will need to wear a support garment for a few weeks following the procedure. The final results of the procedure should be visible about three months following the surgery after the swelling has diminished and the implants have settled into their preferred position.

A Brazilian butt lift patient may need to avoid sitting for extended periods of time for at least two weeks—sometimes longer, depending on the recommendations of the surgeon you choose. Prolonged sitting can damage the newly transferred fat. When you do have to sit, use a pillow or cushion that is positioned behind the legs to elevate the buttocks and diminish the pressure on the fat grafts.

After any surgical procedure, it is vital to follow all the instructions provided to you by your surgeon.
